Blue

Blue is the wonderful,
magical, refreshening water,
which I jump into
when i am bored
and have the urge
to push my legs back
and forth like the elegant
seals, fish and penguins.

Blue is the ink
on pages
giving all students
the privilege
to learn
and obtain knowledge.

Blue is the sky,
which we look upto
when we are feeling low
and stuck
on the ground.

Blue is the
peaceful sound of water
crashing against the shore.

Blue tastes like
water after
a long tedious walk.

Blue feels like
a melancholic
wave of sorrow,
which slowly
lowers onto
your back
when you
cannot feel it
and then
suddenly it pounces
weighing
on your shoulders.

Blue is
the chill,
which runs down
our spine
when you feel petrified.

Blue can
remind you
of the pain
and also
show you
relief is
there to
the rescue.

We are not

We are not just students
We are the devils, hungry and vicious,
ravenous and starved by years of disappointment
We are not just pesky teenagers
We are the men of the future
We are not just crashing waves
We are the huge Tsunamis, which bury
hundreds and thousands of people under
US

Books

And it was at that age
that people begun,
the creation of black characters
across a page, sandwiched between
two coloured papers.

It's ridiculous
how we stare
at black characters
on white sheets
and feel things

some enrage us
others engage us
some make us laugh
others make us cry

we process these black characters
arrange them in a sequence
slowly putting the pieces of the puzzle

we visualise scenes in our minds
creating images after images
like a movie
